Privacy Policy
Plain English about what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
1. Who we are
Yournology (“Yournology”, “we”, “us”) is an AI advisory and solutions firm established in the United States. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@yournology.com.
Registered entity and postal address: [ADD LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND POSTAL ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the information described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what you send us. We do not buy personal information, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
| Source | What we receive |
|---|---|
| Contact form | Your name, email address, and the message you write. |
| “Roast my plan” form | Your email address, the description of your AI project, and your answers to five multiple-choice questions about that project. |
| Sent automatically with either form | The page address you submitted from, the site language, and which form you used. |
| Email you send us directly | Whatever the message contains. |
| Server logs | Your IP address and standard request data. Our form endpoint uses your IP address to limit submissions to five per ten minutes, which is how we stop automated abuse. |
Our forms include a hidden field that people never see. If it is filled in, we treat the submission as automated and discard it.
Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through these forms. Describe your project in general terms. If you need to share something confidential, contact us first and we will agree a secure method and, where appropriate, a confidentiality agreement.
3. How we use it
- To reply to you and to prepare or deliver work you have asked for.
- To review a plan you submit through “Roast my plan” and send you our response.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- To protect the site from spam and automated abuse.
- To send you occasional emails about our services — only where you have asked for them or where the law otherwise allows it. Every such email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we act on unsubscribe requests promptly.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR and UK GDPR:
- Steps at your request before entering a contract, and performance of a contract — responding to your enquiry, reviewing your plan, delivering engagements.
- Our legitimate interests — keeping records of correspondence, securing the site against abuse, and understanding which of our services people ask about. We have considered your rights and do not believe these uses override them.
- Your consent — for marketing emails where consent is required. You can withdraw it at any time without affecting anything done beforehand.
- Compliance with legal obligations — where we must keep or disclose records.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with the following categories of recipient:
| Recipient | Why |
|---|---|
| HighLevel, Inc. (GoHighLevel), United States | Our customer relationship system. Form submissions are stored there as a contact record and a note so we can track and answer them. |
| Our hosting and infrastructure providers | To run this website and the service that receives form submissions. |
| Google LLC, United States | This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Doing so sends your IP address to Google so the font files can be delivered. We are working to remove this by serving the fonts ourselves. |
| Professional advisers, or authorities | Where we are legally required to disclose, or need to establish or defend legal claims. |
If Yournology is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer to the acquirer, who would remain bound by this policy until it is properly replaced.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers are largely United States based. If you are in the EEA or the UK, your information will therefore be transferred outside your country. Where that happens we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism, together with the protections our providers offer. You can ask us for details of the mechanism that applies.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements — up to 24 months from our last exchange, then deleted.
- Client records — for the engagement and for as long as needed afterwards for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe, plus a minimal record so we do not contact you again by mistake.
- Server logs — a short period for security and troubleshooting.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete information we no longer have a reason to keep;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to our legitimate interests;
- provide it in a portable format, or send it to another provider;
- withdraw consent you previously gave.
Email hello@yournology.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires — one month under the GDPR, 45 days under California law. We may need to verify who you are first. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority. In Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
9. California residents
We do not currently meet the thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act apply to us. We offer the following anyway, and will comply fully if those thresholds are met in future.
In the twelve months before this policy was published, we collected the categories of information described in section 2 — identifiers (name, email, IP address) and your own commercial or professional information contained in what you write to us. We collected it for the purposes in section 3 and disclosed it only to the service providers in section 5.
We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone, including people under 16. California residents may request access, deletion, correction, and details of disclosures, and may use an authorised agent. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.
Residents of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights. Contact us and we will honour any right the law gives you.
10. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing to consent to and no preference to manage. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track you in the first place.
The one third-party request the site makes is to Google Fonts, described in section 5. That delivers a typeface; it does not set a cookie on this site.
If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before anything loads.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions travel to our own server, which holds the credentials for our customer relationship system so that they are never exposed in your browser. We rate-limit submissions and restrict which origins may post to our endpoint. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — which is why we ask you not to send confidential material through the forms.
12. Children
This site is for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to tell affected people directly.
14. Contact
Questions, requests, or complaints: hello@yournology.com.
